We have had a positive start to 2012 as we have been maxed out in our morning sessions welcoming more new customers at each session which is vey encouraging.  However sadly we are going to discontinue our afternoon sessions due to the lack of interest so we are going to run our last afternoon session (1pm – 3pm) on Thursday 2 February. The good news is that we are looking to open a third morning session, but shall keep you posted about this..

Remember Half Term week is approaching us fast. Monday 13 February – Friday 17 February. If you plan to attend one of our morning sessions, please do aim to arrive by 10.00am as we normally get full be 10.15am.

I know its a little late but as I always say better late than never!  Happy New Year!

Since Ragged Rascals returned after the xmas break its been go go go! Our Monday morning sessions have been crazy, the numbers have sky rocketed since the beginning of December. Its so nice to meet new mums/dads/grandparents/ guardians and of course not forgetting the little ones.

Ragged Rascals has an extremely busy year with fetes and baby shows. More details please refer to our ‘events’ page on our website.

As some of you may be aware that I am selling Ragged Rascals. You may decide to change career, or have always fancied a challenge of starting up a business of your own. What a wonderful week for Ragged Rascals. We had over 140 little ones through our doors last week! It was certainly organised chaos but was throughly enjoyed by all the children and the adults too, particularly the Mulled Wine, Mince Pies and Stollen! We had 54 little ones on the Monday, 52 little ones on the Thursday and 34 children on the Friday. Each time we played Pass the Parcel ALL the children sat impeccably, it was a marvellous sight!  Father Christmas was a huge hit too. Have a look at our homepage as there is a photograph of Father Christmas with one lucky boy!

I throughly enjoyed myself last week and would like to thank ALL my lovely customers for making it a week to remember! xxxx

Its been an extremely busy running our Halloween sessions this week. It was the first time we ran this event and I am really pleased with how it turned out. We have so many exciting events going on at Ragged Rascals during the next few months, I’m just exhausted just thinking about it! Our most exciting event is our Christmas party!  Tickets for these parties will be going on sale from the beginning of October! We are adding an extra date this year due to popular demand! Another event, which is happening in October, is our Half Term Halloween sessions. This is the first time we are running these sessions. If it goes well we will then make it an annual event! These sessions will be happening during the Haf Term week.  Monday 24 October and Thursday 27 October! There will be a craft table, face painting and some special halloween refreshments. You don’t need to book, just turn up, but just be aware it’s a first come first serve basis.

Its been a particuarly busy few weeks hence why I have written so few blogs.

Apart from being busy at work, I have been busy at home with the family trying to organise activites so my girls aren’t bored over the summer holidays. Believe you me my Thursday sessions have kept me sane over the holidays! Speaking of which I would like to thank all those who have been attending our sessions over the summer. I have been very pleasantly surprised by how busy we have been so thank you for all your support. 

An important notice about next week. We are NOT running a session on Thursday 25 August as I shall be on holiday but will be resuming our Thursday session as normal the following Thursday 1 September. With regards to our Monday sessions, they return on Monday 12 September.

There are a few exciting things happening at Ragged Rascals over the coming months, including a Halloween party – details are to follow…..

At last we have got an outside area that we can open up (weather allowing). We shall be opening this as from Monday 11 July, there is a seating area and some outside toys for the little ones to play with.  We shall be opening this outside up during the holidays (Thursday sessions only) so come along to see what you think.

Its been a while since my last blog. I apologise for this but its been a little hectic in my household lately. Anyway I have managed to sneek away from my girls for a minute to write a quick blog about our summer holiday sessions. As some of you are aware, Ragged Rascals usually run sessions over the holidays however this summer myself and the family are moving house!  A few months ago we weren’t even looking to move so this has happened sooo very quickly I cannot quite believe its happening. Due to the demands of organising a house move and spending time with the family etc I have decided not to run the Monday sessions over this summer holiday, but I will STILL continue to run the Thursday sessions as per normal. Its been a difficult decision to make as most of my lovely loyal customers are depending on my sessions to keep them sane over the 6 week school break, but hopefully some of you will be able to make some of our Thursday sessions!  My last Monday session will take place on Monday 18 July and will return as normal on Monday 12 September 2011.

Ragged Rascals party hire for children’s parties/playgroup events

We have been extremely busy recently with party hire which is great. I have been extremely pleased with our customer feedback  that I wanted to share it in our news….

Hi Lara Kerr, just wanted to say a huge thank you for another fantastic party! The kids had a great time and were completely exhausted at the end Your equipment is just perfect and in brilliant condition.. it makes a potentially manic day very easy and relaxed enabling us to just turn up, have fun, then go home again!!! Will be booking you again very soon. just thinking of an excuse other than a birthday. xx

 Hi! I just wanted to say a big thank you for bringing Ragged Rascals to my daughters party. She had an absolutely brilliant time! The whole church hall was filled with your wonderful colourful, new and clean toys! The bouncy castle was brilliant and everything was perfectly pitched for her age group. The toys are great for every kind …of playing style, there are moving toys, climbing toys, roleplay toys, problem solving toys and everything in-between! Everything is set up for you before your party and tidied away at the end. It was of those rare afternoons where the adults could stand back while their children were utterly absorbed and independent. Thank you so much
